2024 Match Days: Community Impact

The 2024 Match Days, organized by the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) and its partner foundations, brought communities together to make a significant impact on local nonprofits. Through 17 match days, donors generously contributed a total of $8,239,207, exceeding last year's total of $6,996,532.

Once again, Grow Green Match Day in Manhattan stood out as a leader, raising more than $2.19 million to support local organizations and their missions. Give to Grow Match Day in Sabetha experienced outstanding growth, bringing in $1,338,934, more than doubling its 2023 total. Pony Up Match Day in Marysville also saw strong results, raising $550,729 to benefit community programs.

Newer Match Days in Rural Riley County and Alma further demonstrated the expanding reach of GMCF's mission to connect donors with causes that address critical local needs.

These Match Day events highlight the incredible impact that can be achieved when communities come together to support local causes. They provide nonprofits with the resources needed to expand their programs, address critical challenges, and serve more individuals in meaningful ways. Match Days' continued growth and success underscore the generosity and commitment of donors, volunteers, and nonprofits working collectively to strengthen our communities.
