GMCF Welcomes New Partner Executive Directors
The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) proudly announces the appointment of four new Executive Directors for partner community foundations across Kansas, a strategic move supported by the Patterson Family Foundation's Community Foundation Capacity Building Program. This three-year funding initiative aims to enhance the growth and sustainability of rural community foundations by providing full-time leadership. The newly appointed directors, Aimee Nelson (Wamego), Ivy Stone (South Brown County), Connie Joy (Greater Sabetha), and Grace Sammoury (Atchison), bring a diverse range of expertise to their roles, with a shared commitment to strengthening their local communities. GMCF President & CEO, Vern Henricks, emphasized the positive impact these leaders will have on regional philanthropic efforts.
