To minimize hunger and poverty through the distribution of available food and to nurture projects to help alleviate hunger and poverty.

Individuals and families in Manhattan continue to struggle to have enough resources to meet their basic needs. Flint Hills Breadbasket currently helps address food insecurity through food distribution and our partnerships with local church pantries. It is clear that the needs extend beyond food, and the Breadbasket is ready to tackle that gap. We are ready to start the collection and distribution of a few basic hygiene items- specifically toilet paper, laundry detergent (pods, please), and soap/shower gel.
