Grants for Greater Manhattan
Grants are focused on the arts and humanities, basic human needs, children/youth, community development and leadership, conservation/preservation/beautification, education, the elderly, health care, and mental health. Past projects include art education programs offered by Laundry Love MHK and scholarships for youth summer camp fees.
Funding for Grants for Greater Manhattan comes from a variety of funds, including Fund for Manhattan, Kansas Health Foundation Children's Fund, Don Dodge Fund, Frances Van Scoyoc Fund, Florence Day Fund, Fund for Manhattan-Permanent, Jean Caul Fund, C. Clyde and Margaret S. Jones Fund, Manhattan Community Memorial Fund, Lois Blackman Fund, and Instruments for Youth Fund.
- Typically, grant requests should be for $10,000 or less.
- Grants may be considered both for one-time, discrete activities or for activities likely to require ongoing funding.
The 2024 Grants for Greater Manhattan application is open through January 31, 2024.
