Howe Family Foundation
In 2013, the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation welcomed its second supporting organization – the Howe Family Foundation. Phil and Margaret Howe's generous contribution led to the establishment of this fund with the purpose of providing support to charitable organizations and programs. In its first year, the Howe Family Foundation granted $60,500 to various local nonprofits, including the Crisis Center, Inc., Flint Hills Breadbasket, Flint Hills Community Clinic, Manhattan Emergency Shelter, Inc., Sunflower CASA Project, Inc., USD 383 Foundation Flint Hills Summer Fun Camp, and Greater Manhattan Community Foundation Youth Impacting Community.
