Legacy Club

Leave a Legacy

Deferred giving allows people to make charitable gifts beyond those which they might currently give. Many donors choose to leave charitable assets upon their deaths. After assuring that their loved ones have been cared for, donors can use a variety of assets, such as pension plans, life insurance or the proceeds from the sale of a house, for charitable purposes.

The Legacy Club of the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation provides a meaningful way to recognize individuals now for gifts that will be realized by the community sometime in the future.

Members of The Legacy Club play a significant role in helping to shape the future of the greater Manhattan area and its residents by providing funds through bequests, retirement plans, life insurance and other testamentary vehicles that will last forever. There are also planned gift options that provide donors income during their lives.

Participation is easy, and such planned gifts can be provided for in a variety of ways to achieve your charitable goals. The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation encourages you to work with your lawyer or financial advisor as you consider these options. Our staff is experienced in the use of these giving vehicles and is eager to work with you and your advisor in this process.
