Tom is a 1963 graduate of the US Air Force Academy and a long-time resident of Manhattan, Kansas

• The Manhattan Community Foundation's name was changed to Grater Manhattan Community Foundation to include the Dover, Frankfurt, Wamego, and Junction City communities.
• $658,940 in grant distributions.
