Karen Roberts
2017 - 2018 Board Chair
Karen lives her mission statement daily: ‘learning through interactions with others.’ She was in education for forty years, teaching and counseling students in Paola, Olathe, and Manhattan, supporting USD383 with ten years in administration, writing professional courses, coordinating a virtual program, and completing her career with six years in higher education at K-State. Currently, she participates in professional organizations and serves on community boards for the Manhattan Public Library, United Way, McCain, and GMCF. She is enjoying retirement through involvement with GMCF, Fairy Godmothers, reading, and traveling. Karen is married to Tom and the mother of two sons and a grandson
