Coughenour Family

Dean & Verlla owned and operated Ag Press for over 60 years. They were very involved in the community; Dean served a three-year term on the City Commission in the 1970’s and Verlla was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and PEO. They supported many community organizations during their lifetimes. Their love for Manhattan inspired them to leave a portion of their estate to the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation in support of a community they loved. They were given the GMCF Lifetime Contribution Award in 2022.
