Ed Seaton

The Seaton family name has a long history in Manhattan, and their impact is just as prolific. After the floods of 1993, there was an immediate need to help families, and through his relationship with the McCormick Foundation, his efforts led to much-needed support. Soon after, the need for after-school programs was identified, and once again, Ed was at the forefront of the establishment of the YES! Fund, meaning Youth Empowering Success. He is leadership in the Landon Lecture Series and McCain Performance series and additional examples of how he has led efforts to make Manhattan a better place for us all. Because of these efforts, he was given the GMCF Lifetime Contribution Award in 2017.
